Phone Surgeons, LLC., founded by former Wireless Zone franchise owner Chris Jourdan, was recently selected as one of the top 150 startups in the world invited to attend the Collision Conference in Las Vegas.
Collision Conference is a 2-day tech event run by the team behind The Summit. The conference brought together 1,000 tech industry leaders and a curated group of early stage startups in Las Vegas this past week. Of that curated group of startups, Newburgh based Phone Surgeons was one.
Phone Surgeons entered to be selected and was ultimately chosen from a pool of thousands for, as Collision organizers put it, “…Revolutionizing an infant industry and well on their way to becoming synonymous with phone repair…”
“I got the call that we were selected, and it was certainly an honor,” says Jourdan “But, I really had no idea how big this thing really is…”
Speakers included founders such as Tony Hsieh (Zappos), Matt Mullenweg (WordPress), Phil Libin (Evernote), Michael Dubin (Dollar Shave Club), Ryan Holmes (Hootsuite), and many more including Venture capitalists and reporters/bloggers from around the tech and startup world.
Previous attendees include successful startups Vine, Uber, Nest, Stripe, and Waze.
