Let me walk you through it.
You’re a heart Doc. You are in the middle of an open heart surgery. You’ve done it a hundred times before…maybe you’ve only done it once, who knows, but you’ve done it nonetheless.
You’re already nerve wracked a little. Then it happens.
The electricity goes out. There’s no generator. Lights go OFF.
What do you do?!
If you’re a surgeon at a heart clinic in Kyrgyzstan, you whip out your smartphone.
Yep, during a routine heart surgery at his clinic, Dr Abdramanov experienced a government enforced blackout. Things started to go downhill FAST, until someone on the team whipped out a smartphone, turned the light on, and the rest of the surgical team followed suit.
Each person on the team help their illuminated phones up over the chest of the patient, allowing Dr. Abdramanov to finish the procedure.
“I”m not sure if it was a crime or act of heroism…” he said.
