The iPhone 6 Plus is literally the biggest thing in smart phones right now, and they are still mostly hard to come by.
But, do you even want one?
Some complain about the larger size and how hard it is to handle calls throughout the day. Still, others love the size and for the way it has merged devices, iPad and iPhone into a Phablet.
If you do want one, we’ve dug down into the trenches of the interwebs to try and scrape up some needs to knows. Things you might want to consider before jaunting off to put in your order for an iPhone 6 Plus.

Not in Stock
It is still hard to find the iPhone 6 Plus in stock. However there are ways to get ahead of the curve. Best Buy gets their phones in on Wednesday and you can also go to their website and check the stock of your local best buy.
Not in stock means you’ll have to put in an order, so beware of a few long shipping delays. Below are some shipping and delivery estimates for each carrier.

- Apple Store- 3-4 Weeks
There are a few listed problems that come with the iPhone 6 Plus, most notably apps freezing and crashing, being stuck in landscape mode, no quick access to camera from lock screen, and Bluetooth issues.
However, most of these problems were said to be tied with the iOS 8 and iOS 0.0.2 The iOS 8.1 update was slated to fix most of those problems.

As if the phone wasn’t big enough, you can add a case. Kidding – all of our Phone Surgeons suggest outfitting your device with some kind of protective case. You might think, since the 6 Plus is so new that cases would be hard to come by, but we’ve heard differently. Apparently, the new batch of iPhone 6 Plus cases are much better and easier to find then before. Currently, the place to look is Best Buy, as they have a wide variety of options.
